Our Last Breath: Destiny & Love

What will happen to you when you take your last breath? Have you ever wondered?

This question must be asked of yourself and you must know whether you can live with the true answer.

Will you wish you’d done things differently, everything in your life and destiny? Will you find out who God made you to be was completely different than the person you became, that the person you lived as was actually the devil’s destiny for you and not God’s? Will you find you had all your life believed a lie and discover you will now suffer eternally for that wrong choice?

We were made for great purpose: To be loved by God and to love in return. God, Father of all of us, this One who longs for great destiny for us, wants abundant life for us. God’s heart is to extend mercy not sacrifice, desiring to protect us from the enemy’s destiny for us (suffering, death, bondage and addiction to ways of life and choices said to be okay by the world but ways that in reality will lead to pain, suffering and heartache in the end).

Your Last Breath: Destiny & Love
All will die once prior to their life in eternity. The deciding factor is whether we choose to believe that Jesus alone is our salvation and if we then made Him the Lord over our lives, seeking to live solely for Him and to love as He loves, fighting against temptation to evil and sin because of love for Him and others.

Choose life, choose true love, God’s love, not a worldly passion that is merely a mask for bondage to the devil, the very enemy of your souls who wants to destroy your life. Satan is not your friend and does not cares for you a bit. God alone cares most, He who gave His Son for our freedom from the wiles of the devil and from our sin nature.

I pray that Father God will open your eyes today even if you do not yet know Him as someone who loves you and wants the best for you more than anyone else. May you see that evil forces do exist in this world and want to do all they can to keep you from your true destiny.

God desires a far greater destiny for you than you could make happen. He has such plans for you and I ask that He give you dreams of those very plans and helps you fulfill them against any opposition that would try to prevent them. Jesus loves you. Ask Him to show you who He truly is and He surely will.

All of Heaven Inside You

I am amazed by our God. I feel so loved that He pours out His love and gives so much of Himself. He is so beautiful and yet even more so. He holds onto us tighter than we often realize, and He will NEVER let go, even when we miss the mark or make mistakes. He is so faithful!

He will also never let you down. If it ever seems that way, it is not true, though I myself have experienced that place of feeling painfully distant from the Lord. Thankfully, things aren’t always as they appear to our natural senses.

Feelings are not always in agreement with the truth, and at times I’ve found that persevering is most difficult when my emotions are in a bad way. Our emotions do not always agree with His truth, and our timing is not always in alignment with His. But if you set yourself to keep your gaze on Him, and in quiet trust you wait on Him, He will never disappoint you. He is your Rock and your Salvation.

He is a good Father and Jesus is a perfect Husband. The Holy Spirit is a perfect Comforter. He gives us good gifts! After all, He gave Jesus! What would He do but to want to BE with you!

Often we just do not rest from our striving and we allow fears and distractions to take our focus captive, pulling it away from God, where our focus should be even in difficulties.

Refuse to listen to the lies of the enemy of your soul. That enemy wants only to cut off your abiding connection with the Lord, do not entertain his lies in your mind or his feelings that lie to your soul.

Allow nothing to come in between you and the Lord! He has deposited ALL of the treasures of Heaven inside you! He wants to show you great and mighty things of which you know not, yet they are already within you by His Spirit inside you, waiting for you to recognize and release them by His power and strength! How can we release something we don’t recognize? May He open up our eyes to all He has placed inside us.

Can you relate to this? Do you realize that with God’s Holy Spirit in you, you have all of Heaven within reach? Have you ever had fears or other challenges that seemed to keep you from seeing the truth of God dwelling inside you? Have emotions ever caused you to feel as if God was not going to come through in your life or situation? Share your experiences below.

Do You Know Him?

Only our relationship to the everlasting God–who formed and sustains the universe, and for whom time is nothing–only that relationship will last. Only that security is of any true significance.
– Marty Parks

Do you know the everlasting God through Jesus Christ? Do you have a relationship with Him? Being baptised or attending church doesn’t count–do you have any actual relationship with Him? Does He know you? Is He truly your Saviour and Lord?

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Heaven’s Music: What Will It Be Like?

Have you ever wondered what music will be like in Heaven?

Think about all the facets of music now — technologies, different types of scales of both usual & unusual forms, the different instruments & different timbres of both these & our own voices & even the voices of animals of all kinds.

We can’t begin to imagine such things on an infinite scale! The instruments used to express in musical form God’s glory in Heaven; the timbres arising from the voices of both ourselves, the angels, & the living creatures all worshiping God. The sounds of creation itself worshiping, the sound of the trees, the rocks, the cosmos, all worshiping in their very own God-ordained ways.

I can imagine pitches that will exist that our human ears have never heard or imagined. Our spirits will hear things our flesh kept us from hearing in all its beauty or from hearing them at all.

Our vocal ranges & instrumental abilities will be infinite & we will be able to praise God in any way by the music God births in our spirits with which to exalt Him. & as one voice we will lift up new songs to Him with all the creatures of Heaven in worship of our glorious King in Heaven!

Can you imagine it? I can’t! Even what I’ve described in this blog entry is so incredibly finite compared to God’s infinite creativity, but this was what God seemed to bring to my mind this morning, taking me away from the worries that attempt to bother me. What a most wonderful height to take my imagination away from the burdens of this life!
